Maintenance Administrator

The Opportunity

As the Maintenance Administrator, you will take full ownership of the CMMS (SAP) to drive a proactive maintenance culture. You will bridge the gap between production and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Manage the end-to-end work order flow, resource leveling, and major equipment overhaul programs.
• CMMS Mastery: Develop and maintain the CMMS (SAP) system, including preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and spare parts inventory.
• Contractor Management: Oversee service providers and utilities contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
• Safety Leadership: Issue hot work permits and confined space clearances, ensuring all activities align with strict WHSE standards.
• Inventory Control: Maintain the critical spare parts list and optimize the store layout for rapid retrieval.
• Reporting: Track and report on maintenance costs against budget and provide weekly department statistics on PM completion rates.

What You Bring

• Experience: At least 2 years in maintenance management, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SAP (CMMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Safety Mindset: Proven experience managing compliance, SWMS, and safety audits.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to liaise with Process Improvement Managers, Production Supervisors, and external suppliers.
• Organisation: A high level of self-organization with the ability to manage a central engineering library and hard-copy work order systems.
